2. Services Provided by Charm & Chai
Charm & Chai provides travel planning and related assistance designed to help clients prepare for and enjoy their journey to India.
Our services may include:
- complimentary initial travel ideas and recommendations;
- personalised travel planning and itinerary design;
- travel consultations;
- recommendations regarding accommodation, transportation, activities and local services;
- practical pre-travel information and guidance;
- concierge and local support during a client’s stay in India; and
- travel-related reservation or coordination assistance where specifically agreed.
The exact scope, price and conditions of any paid service will be communicated to the client before the service begins.
3. Complimentary Travel Plan
Charm & Chai may provide a complimentary outline itinerary, practical travel plan, travel tips and personalised recommendations based on information provided by the client through our Journey Planning Form.
The complimentary travel plan is intended as an initial indication and does not constitute a confirmed booking, reservation, travel contract or guarantee of availability, pricing or provision of any third-party travel service.
4. Personalised Travel Planning and Consultation
Clients may request a paid personalised travel planning and consultation service. The scope of the service and applicable fee will be communicated and agreed before the service begins.
The service may include consultation, itinerary development, travel advice and recommendations regarding accommodation, transportation, activities, local partners and other travel-related services according to the client’s preferences.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the travel planning service does not itself constitute the purchase or provision of accommodation, transportation, flights, activities or other third-party travel services.
5. Third-Party Travel Services
Accommodation, flights, trains, transfers, private drivers, guides, activities, restaurants and other travel services may be provided by independent third-party providers.
Where a client books and pays for a travel service directly with a third-party provider, the contract for that service is between the client and the respective provider.
The third-party provider’s own booking conditions, payment terms, cancellation policy and other contractual conditions apply to that service.
Where Charm & Chai provides assistance with a reservation or coordination, the scope of such assistance will depend on what has been agreed with the client.
6. Prices and Payments
Any fee charged by Charm & Chai for travel planning, consultation, concierge or other services will be communicated to the client before the service is provided.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, costs relating to accommodation, transportation, flights, activities and other third-party travel services are paid by the client directly to the relevant provider according to that provider’s payment terms.
Prices and availability of third-party services may change until a booking has been confirmed by the relevant provider.
7. Accuracy of Travel Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful travel information and recommendations based on the information available to us at the time of planning.
Travel conditions, prices, availability, opening hours, transport schedules, entry requirements, visa requirements and other information may change.
Clients are responsible for checking the final terms and conditions applicable to their bookings and ensuring that the information provided to us is accurate and complete.
8. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring that they hold valid passports, visas, permits and any other documents required for their journey.
Charm & Chai may provide general information or practical assistance regarding visa and travel requirements. However, decisions regarding visas, entry and immigration remain the responsibility of the relevant authorities.
9. Concierge and Local Support
Where concierge or local support has been agreed, Charm & Chai may assist clients during their stay in India with practical questions, recommendations, communication, coordination and other agreed forms of assistance.
Concierge support does not replace the contractual responsibilities of independent third-party providers for the services they supply.
10. Changes to Travel Plans
Travel plans may need to be adjusted because of availability, weather, transport conditions, local circumstances, changes made by third-party providers or changes requested by the client.
Where a change affects a third-party booking, the terms and conditions of the relevant provider will apply.
11. Cancellation of Charm & Chai Services
Any cancellation or modification of a paid Charm & Chai planning, consultation or concierge service will be subject to the cancellation terms communicated to the client before the service begins.
Cancellation of accommodation, transportation, flights, activities or other third-party services is governed by the cancellation conditions of the relevant provider.
12. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
Where applicable under Slovak consumer protection legislation, consumers have statutory rights concerning contracts concluded at a distance or outside the business premises.
The applicable information regarding withdrawal rights, exceptions and the conditions for starting a service before the expiry of the withdrawal period will be provided to the client before the conclusion of the relevant contract, where required by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
13. Liability
Charm & Chai is responsible for providing the travel planning, consultation, concierge and other services that it has expressly agreed to provide.
Where a travel service is provided directly by an independent third-party provider, that provider is responsible for the performance of its own service in accordance with its contractual terms and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
14. Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding a service provided directly by Charm & Chai, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can review the matter and seek an appropriate resolution.

15. Personal Data
Personal data provided to Charm & Chai is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

16. Intellectual Property
Travel plans, itineraries, written recommendations, materials and other content prepared by Charm & Chai for a client are provided for the client’s personal use unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Such materials may not be commercially reproduced, resold, distributed or used to provide travel planning services to third parties without prior written permission from Charm & Chai.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable to the client under the law that cannot legally be excluded.
